Doc: BEM FTI Untar<\/strong><\/p>\n

The creative economy is one of the main pillars in Indonesia\u2019s economic development. This sector not only contributes significantly to GDP, but also creates many jobs and encourages the growth of new industries based on innovation.<\/p>\n

This was conveyed by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno at the I\/O Festival 2024 themed \u201cTechSphere: Unleash Your Creativity, Expand Your Journey\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event was organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Untar, Wednesday (12\/6) at the Auditorium of Campus I Untar.<\/p>\n

Sandiaga opened the festival with a speech highlighting the importance of creative economy in Indonesia\u2019s economic development. He emphasized that creativity and technology are the keys to compete in the global arena.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the development of digital technology, we see more and more young digital talents who are able to create creative products and services that have high added value,\u201d Sandiaga said.<\/p>\n

Beating the gong during the opening of the event \/\/ Doc: BEM FTI Untar<\/p><\/div>\n

Chief Executive Yudo Alfariszi revealed that this year\u2019s I\/O Festival carries the concept of Nusantara, Lifestyle, and Environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hope to appreciate the richness of Indonesian culture and explore the inspiring trends of today\u2019s life. We believe this event can be a platform for participants to produce innovative and useful works for the wider community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Dean of FTI Untar Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si. also gave appreciation to all participants who participated in the event.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, this event can be beneficial for all involved and have a positive impact on society, especially in the field of technology.<\/p>\n

I\/O Festival is a work program of BEM FTI Untar which has been running since 2021. This event is a forum for students and students to explore and develop innovative ideas.<\/p>\n

This year, I\/O Festival presents four competition categories, namely Web Development, UI\/UX, Business Plan, and Game Development. The event was attended by 212 teams from all over Indonesia.<\/p>\n

The competition not only emphasized practical applications, but also encouraged the exploration of new ideas and creative solutions.<\/p>\n

Talk show session \/\/ Doc: BEM FTI Untar<\/p><\/div>\n

Lasting for two days until Thursday (13\/6), the festival also presented a talk show \u201cArtificial Intelligence for Social Impact\u201d presented by Telkom Indonesia Software Engineer Rizky \u201cKyra\u201d Ramadhan.<\/p>\n

Attended by 260 participants, this talk show shared insights on the latest innovations and experiences in the technology industry. (KJ\/AW\/KJ)<\/strong><\/p>\n
