Students of the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) made another proud achievement through the “OldJeans” team, which won the Best Artistic award in the Indie Game Ignite (IGI) competition at Compfest at the University of Indonesia, Sunday (6/10/2024).
The team of Eriko Levino Sasmitra, Ivander, and Hanson Nicholas wowed the judges with their game titled SPYTE.
Compfest is one of the largest annual IT events in Indonesia, organized by the University of Indonesia, and this year entered its 16th year. The Indie Game Ignite (IGI) competition was attended by 170 teams from renowned universities such as UI, ITB, UB, and Malang Polytechnic. After a rigorous preliminary round, only the top 15 teams advanced to the finals.

SPYTE game, which has a unique gameplay concept and stunning visuals, managed to outperform other competitors and won the award in the artistic category.
With this award, Eriko, Ivander, and Hanson hope to continue to grow in the field of game design and make greater contributions in the future.
Their success is an inspiration for other FTI Untar students to continue to innovate and work in the world of information technology. (AK)
