On Friday (07/26/2024), the delegation of Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) visited the Faculty of Data Science & Information Technology (FDSIT) INTI International University Malaysia. The visit was a form of commitment to the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement (MoU) which was signed in June 2024.
The FTI delegation was welcomed by the Dean of FDSIT INTI International University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narinderjit Singh Sawaran Singh accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Malathy Batumalay and Dr. Deshinta Arrova Dewi, each as research group leaders in the fields of Cloud Computing & Network Security and Artificial Intelligence & IoT.

Dean of FDSIT, who also leads the Computational Mathematics, Technology & Optimization research group, enthusiastically wants to start international collaboration through the exchange of ten thesis research topics at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. One of the thesis topics proposed by FTI Untar is related to green land mapping and environmental sustainability based on remote sensing data.

The visit was led by FTI Untar’s Manager of Cooperation and Resources, Tony, Ph.D., and was attended by Dean of FTI Untar, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dyah Erny Herwindiati, M.Si., Leaders of Informatics Engineering and Information Systems Study Program, lecturers, and non-academic staff of FTI Untar.
The implementation of the Cooperation Agreement (MoU) is expected to enrich the insight and experience of students and lecturers, as well as improve the reputation of FTI Untar at the international level.
