Two student teams from the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Universitas Tarumanagara (Untar) made proud achievements in the UI/UX competition at TDays #13. The competition organized by Ahmad Dahlan University, Yogyakarta, took place on Sunday (8/12/2024).
In the competition with the theme “Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Solutions”, both teams from FTI Untar successfully passed the online preliminary selection to advance to the final round which was held offline. Team “H-1” consisting of Jessica Widodo, Melinda Gloria, and Vincent Alexander won 1st place, while team “Jilid II” consisting of Alif Fazjrul Caesar Ifmaini, Gladys Anawai Ohyver, and Pamela Metta Oktaviana brought home the title of 2nd runner-up. The competition was attended by ten teams from various renowned universities, such as UPN Jogja, UPN Surabaya, Airlangga University, ITS, and Politeknik Elektronika Surabaya. Participants were challenged to design application interface designs that are innovative, user-friendly, and support sustainable solutions. The finalists’ work was presented directly to the jury. This achievement is a clear proof of the dedication and creativity of FTI Untar students in developing skills in the UI/UX field. Hopefully, this achievement will inspire other students to continue working and bring the good name of the university in the national and international arena.
