Prof. Hiroshi Murase from Nagoya University came as a guest lecturer in a public lecture of the Faculty of Information Technology (FTI) Untar, Tuesday (6/8/2024) at Campus I Untar. In the lecture entitled “Image Recognition for Daily Life,” Prof. Murase gave an in-depth insight into image recognition technology and its application in daily life.
Prof. Murase outlined how image recognition technology serves as a significant innovation in computer science, with many practical applications that can affect various fields.
He emphasized the application of these technologies in sectors such as security, health, and industry, and how these innovations can improve the general quality of life. According to him, the wide application of this technology is expected to bring great benefits to society.
In addition, Prof. Murase also discussed the latest developments in image recognition technology, with a particular focus on machine learning and deep learning algorithms that enable more sophisticated and accurate image analysis.

On this occasion, Prof. Murase expressed his satisfaction with the opportunity to share knowledge at Untar. He appreciated the diversity of students and the dynamic academic environment at Untar, as well as the support provided by the leadership, lecturers, and students, which created an atmosphere conducive to discussion and the exchange of ideas.
